Favorite city to visit and why: Domestically, I love New Orleans; the culture and food cannot be beat. There’s always something going on from great music, art and the locals who make you feel right at home. Internationally, I really enjoyed going to Beijing for the 2008 Olympics. The city is so vast and the architecture, both modern and ancient, is amazing.
Fun Fact: I have my bachelor’s degree in acting!
Hobbies: In my free time, I love to ride my mountain bike, kayak and explore new places.
Why do you travel? I love travel because it teaches you about yourself and about other cultures all at once. Traveling to a new place where you don’t know the culture or the language is like being a child all over again discovering the world anew, it brings you completely into the present moment and changes you forever.

Why do you travel? I grew up in a suburban bubble and the only time I felt that I really understood the world was when my parents took my brother and I on road trips around the country. As an adult, I want to go as far as I can so I can experience as much as I can. Seeing the world from other people’s perspectives is always fascinating and enlightening.

Why do you travel? To not go out and see the world and the people in it when given the opportunity is to walk through the forest and not look at the trees.  The challenge of getting out of your comfort zone to experience and see what the world has to offer makes it life enhancing for me. It creates new memories that you can’t get any other way. Come see the world but bring your sense of adventure with you… you’re going to need it.
